Simple Ideas to Take your Everyday Coffee to the Next Level - Summer Edition
Updated: Nov 9, 2020

Deliciously refreshing coffee-infused recipes to give you that caffeine fix without all the heat. Easy to make using ingredients that you are most likely to have at home right now.
Creamy Coffee Ice Lolly
The perfect recipe to use that cold brew coffee that has been sitting in the fridge for a while.
You will need :
1 cup of cold coffee;
¼ cup of milk (works fine with any dairy free alternative);
¼ cup of sweetened condensed milk (use coconut condensed milk for a dairy free alternative).
Mix together all the ingredients and taste it to ensure it is sweet enough and adjust as necessary;
Pour the mixture into the ice lolly moulds and insert the sticks;
Freeze for at least 3 hours or preferably overnight before consuming.
Tip: Add a touch of ground cinnamon for a spicy kick, dark chocolate chips for a mocha like version or get naughty with a couple tablespoons of Bailey's Irish Cream.
Instant Iced Latte Three Ways
No, we are not talking about instant coffee. It is about preparing a refreshing iced latte in minutes with three different flavours to choose from. What is the catch? Just freeze a few ice cubes in advance.
You will need :
Mocha: 1 cup of brewed coffee + 3 tbsp of cocoa powder;
Caramel: 1 cup of brewed coffee + 1/4 homemade caramel syrup;
Vietnamese: 1 cup of brewed coffee + 1/4 cup sweetened condensed milk (use coconut condensed milk for a dairy free alternative).
Whisk the ingredients of the desired flavour until well combined then pour into ice cube moulds and freeze until solid, about 5 hours;
When ready, remove from mould and fill up an empty glass with the coffee ice cubes;
Choose the milk of your preference and pour it cold over the ice cubes. Stir gently while drinking.
Tip: Go sugar free and freeze only the brewed coffee itself as ice cubes.
Why not prepare all these recipes at once and keep them ready in the freezer?
You never know when the next warm sunny day may be.
Great results? We would love to see it!
